The in-mold label is a special label that is bonded to the surface of the plastic bottle body and integrated with the bottle body in the mold when the hot melting solid adhesive is used in the Injection and Blow molding of the bottle body. Mainly used in PP, PE products.

 

During the IML labelling process, the printed, varnished and die-cut finished labels (front and back) are stacked in a single sheet and placed separately in the label box. With the opening of the mould, the robot will label one by one suction up, placed and positioned in the open mould, and by the vacuum negative pressure or electrostatic adsorption will be firmly adsorbed in the label on the inner wall of the mould; mould open, the melted plastic along the inlet into the mould, the temperature inside the mould is very high at this time, the label close to the container prototype of the thermo-melting solid adhesive began to melt, and the plastic container combined into one; when the mould is opened again! When the mould is opened again, in the plastic container forming simultaneously, the label is firmly set in the wall, and moulding is completed.
